DURHAM HUMANE SOCIETY FIRE TRAGEDY, Nov. 17th 2008. Shelter in Ontario has been destroyed and over 180 animals lives lost in the fire. We here at SHARP are deeply saddened by this horrible news. If you can, please help the shelter rebuild and save more animals in the future, by donating funds directly to the shelter's rebuild fund. One of the few VERY LUCKY animals who did make it out alive and well, is a male Husky, 2 years old, neutered, named "Rocco". He found a new home but the remaining animals from that shelter will be looking for homes or fosters.
